Refunds & Returns Policy

Overview

All products sold by Stickify are made to order. Many of our items are personalised or custom manufactured to your specification.

Because of this, our returns policy is stricter than standard retail and complies with UK consumer legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Your statutory rights are not affected.


Personalised & Custom-Made Products

Under UK law, personalised and made-to-order goods are exempt from the 14-day cancellation (cooling-off) period.

The following items are non-refundable and non-returnable once production has started:

  • Personalised clothing

  • Custom vinyl decals and stickers

  • Custom signage

  • Products with supplied names, text, or logos

  • Bespoke size or colour requests

  • Any made-to-order printed item

Orders cannot be cancelled once they have entered production.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:

  • Spelling is correct

  • Sizes are accurate

  • Colours are selected correctly

  • Artwork is approved

Order confirmation and/or artwork approval constitutes acceptance of these details.


Order Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled before production begins.

If cancellation is approved before production:

  • Payment processing fees may be deducted

  • Design or setup time may be deducted

  • Administrative costs may be deducted

We reserve the right to refuse cancellation once work has commenced.


Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be:

  • As described

  • Of satisfactory quality

  • Fit for purpose

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect:

  • You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Clear photographic evidence must be provided

  • The item must not be installed, worn, washed, or altered

Failure to report issues within 48 hours may invalidate your claim.

If a fault is confirmed, we will offer:

  • A like-for-like replacement (primary remedy)

Refunds will only be issued where a replacement is not possible.

We reserve the right to inspect returned goods before approving a refund.


Installation & Application Disclaimer (Vinyl Products)

We are not responsible for:

  • Incorrect application or fitting

  • Damage caused during installation

  • Surface incompatibility

  • Failure to follow instructions

  • Environmental damage after installation

Once installed, items are deemed accepted unless a clear manufacturing defect is proven.

Improper fitting does not constitute a product fault.


Garment Care

We are not responsible for damage caused by:

  • Washing above recommended temperatures

  • Tumble drying against care instructions

  • Ironing directly over print

  • Commercial laundering

Care instructions must be followed to maintain product quality.


Non-Personalised Items

If an item is genuinely non-personalised:

  • Return requests must be made within 14 days of delivery

  • Items must be unused and in resaleable condition

  • Return postage is the buyer’s responsibility

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable

We reserve the right to refuse refunds for items returned in unsaleable condition.


Colour & Size Variations

The following do not qualify as faults:

  • Minor colour differences due to screen settings

  • Slight size tolerances within manufacturing standards

  • Minor placement variations

  • Industry-standard material shrinkage


Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Customers agree to contact us first to resolve any issue.

Unjustified chargebacks may result in:

  • Submission of production and delivery evidence

  • Recovery of dispute fees

  • Further recovery action where appropriate


Production Time

All items are made to order. Please allow up to 15 working days for production unless otherwise stated.

Production time does not constitute grounds for cancellation once manufacturing has begun.
